Almaden Preparatory School came to be as a
result of the founder’s frustration in
finding a program that academically advanced
her children while allowing them to follow
and pursue their extra-curricular
activities. As her family experienced the
frenetic lifestyle of raising young
children, she realized that there was not a
school in the valley that offered the
balanced program she was looking for.
Relying on her background in the educational
field and parenting, she put in motion a
plan to develop an academically competitive
curriculum with a creative and enthusiastic
staff enhanced by activities that channel
interests and energies of children in a
positive direction.
With the support of her family, she began to
implement the program. Inside this warm
setting is our private school, which
provides an enriched Jr. kindergarten
through eighth grade program with a
formative and stimulating foundation. The
spacious and inviting classrooms coupled
with our innovative teaching staff present a
superior approach to learning. Here, we
implement a cross-curriculum strategy so the
“whole child” is acknowledged and develops
through our well-balanced classes and
activities. This fundamental life-strategy
is one that Almaden Preparatory has proudly
supported since our establishment in 1994.
Our tenfold reward is knowing that our
satisfied children look forward to coming to
school each day, are excited about learning
and are propelled into the future with all
the necessary tools to succeed.
